My name is Kelvin Guevara and I am an Assistant Band Director here at Shadow Creek High School. I am proud and honored to work with such dedicated and talented students and to be part of a supportive and growing community. I attended the Sam Houston State University School of Music where I studied trumpet under Professor Randy Adams and Baroque trumpet under Dr. Amanda Pepping. 

During my time at Sam Houston State University, I was part of the SHSU Wind Ensemble trumpet section for 2 years while under the direction of Dr. Matthew McInturf, The SHSU Early Music Ensemble and the Angry Orange Basketball Band for 4 years. Aside from this, I am a proud alumni from The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps & The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. 

I am TMEA and TBA member and an alumni of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
