I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Graduated high school from J. Frank Dobie.  I received a football scholarship to University of Louisiana Monroe and was on their 1987 National Championship Team. I graduated from college with a Criminal Justice Degree in 1989.  After working 26 as a Probation Officer in Harris County, Texas, I retired and stayed home with my kids for 6 years.  As an officer, I wore many hats working in the criminal courts, out in the field, in detention facilities and as a region officer.    

Family: Married 28 years to my college sweetheart.  I have two boys, oldest is 23 and is currently a senior at the United States Air Force Academy majoring in Civil Engineering.  He plays football for the Air Force Academy and is the starting Defensive End.  My youngest son graduated high school 2021 and is a junior at McMurry University, where he too is playing football and pursuing an Environmental Science degree. We have 3 Labrador Retrievers; Milly, Rosceaux, and Beau.  

Hobbies: My number one hobby is my family. We enjoy spending our time in the outdoors.  We are avid fishermen and duck hunters.  We also enjoy camping and touring Texas in our RV as well as being there to cheer our sons on in all the sports they played growing up.  It was a great way to be with our kids, yet allowing sports to help build character, confidence, while building lasting relationships with their coaches, family and friends.   

I am returning for my second year as the criminal justice teacher here at Alvin High School.  It is a privilege to share my experiences in the field of Criminal Justice with your children. My conference is 6th period and I am also available after school from 2:50 pm until 3:30 pm for tutoring or parent communication.
