Welcome Sharks! My name is Denea Thomas, and this year I am teaching English 2! I am a proud graduate of the illustrious and historical Prairie View A&M University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Shortly after earning my masters, I attended Lamar University where I earned my Principal Certification. Before becoming a Shark, I taught 6th grade ELAR in Pasadena ISD, English 2 and 3 in Houston ISD, and English 3 in Fort Bend ISD.  I have also served as Assistant Drill Team Director and both Assistant and Head Cheer Coach. This will be my 14th year fostering young minds and preparing our scholars for their future endeavors. I am looking forward to a great year with my JAWSome sophomores!
