My name is Cody Holmes and I am in my 1st year as Percussion Coordinator at Shadow Creek High School and 3rd year as a music educator. I earned my Bachelors degree in Music Education at Texas Tech University. During my time at Tech, I was a member of the Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra, the Goin’ Band From Raiderland, and the Steel Band. I was a percussion student of Dr. Lisa Rogers and Professor Alan Shinn. Prior to the 2020-2021 school year, I began my teaching career at Greenville High School in Greenville, Tx and am originally from Lubbock. 

As an educator, I strongly believe in utilizing music to help refine skills necessary for success beyond grade school. Through the excellent and high-achieving band program at Shadow Creek, I am excited to help prepare students to achieve their goals!
