Hello Sharks,

I'm looking forward to returning for my third year as the SCHS Journalism Teacher and Yearbook Adviser for the 2022-2023 school year.

I'm a former metro desk reporter covering the night police beat at the Kansas City Star newspaper and I also have experience in digital media, newspaper syndication and I also worked at several higher education institutions in Texas. I fell in love with teaching in 2017 while working as a substitute teacher and, in 2019, entered the classroom as a first-year Journalism/Yearbook teacher. I love working with high school students.
