I’m excited about beginning my second year as a Nolan Ryan Junior High Longhorn! I’m an educator and Navy veteran with a passion for learning. I attended Texas Southern University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Master of Business Administration.

     I’ve served as a volunteer and mentor in support of several youth initiatives throughout my career, including developing internship programs, serving as a C-Stem competition judge, volunteering as a foster care activities coordinator, and currently recording my “Story Time with Uncle” YouTube videos for my nieces and nephews.

     My philosophy is that every child deserves an equitable education in a safe environment where their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development can be supported, regardless of ability, background, or zip code. I hope to inspire every student to become a perpetual learner.
