 About me:

I am excited about teaching Anatomy and Physiology, an essential class to take on the path of pursuing a Health Science Career. My hope is to inspire the next generation of health care professionals by educating excellent, caring, and ethical young minds.  I aim to accomplish this goal by emphasizing critical thinking, scientific problem solving, and assisting your children to realize their potential as our future health care professionals.  We are going to have a lot of fun exploring the human body this year.  I have lots of fun activities (labs) planned.  We are going to be dissecting hearts, brains, eyeballs and looking at real lungs for some of our dissection labs.  It is going to be a great time.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts.  This has led to an exciting career in the hospitality industry. However, I started my health care career right out of high school as an EMT- Basic.  I worked my way up to achieving my Paramedic certificate and enjoyed a 10-year career in the healthcare industry.  

I have 3 fur-babies (Sookie, Beaux, and WingDing), my favorite color is purple (I even had a purple car once) and I love helping people in any way that I can.  When I am not teaching, I love to travel and explore new places, cultures, and cuisines.  I am looking forward to learning as much from your children as they will learn from me.  Please feel free to reach out to me if there is anything you need.
