Degrees and Certifications:
BA Literature Teaching Certification English Language Arts & Reading 8-12 Supplemental ESL Certification
Ms. Cheryl Voskamp
I grew up between the Bay and the Permian Basin. I began my degree at UT Permian Basin and graduated from UofH-Clear Lake with a BA in Literature and Teaching Certification in English Language Arts and Reading 8-12. This is the start of my tenth full year teaching, and I've had the pleasure of teaching almost everything English related from 9th-12th grade, Reading, STAAR Review, and AP Language and Composition. Secretly, 10th grade English is my absolute favorite grade level, and I'm currently teaching English II, English II PAP, and AP Seminar. I am happy to be a member of the Manvel High team and excited to see my students bloom into savvy critical thinkers who find joy in reading and writing. I greatly enjoy community building with family and guardians and hope you will pitch in to model your own joy of reading and/or writing.
