Degrees and Certifications:
Capturing Kids Hearts
At Wilder, we strive to create a culture of respect in each of our classrooms and throughout the campus. Our teachers begin the school year by focusing on building relationships and classroom community. Students will get to know one another and then create a classroom Social Contract, or promise to one another. The Social Contract is a list of traits and adjectives that describe how they will treat everyone in the classroom.
Throughout the school year, students will share “Good News” with their class and work on affirming their classmates. Teachers will motivate students as they leave their classroom by launching them with a motivational thought or quote.
We encourage our parents and visitors to help us promote a positive learning environment by sharing affirmations with students and staff throughout the year.
