My name is Monte Lewis and I am extremely excited to be a part of the great staff at MJH. I grew up in the small-south Texas town of Refugio, where family, education, and football are paramount to the success of a deeply rooted community. I played college football at Texas State University, where I met my wonderful wife of 23 years.  As an educator, I aspire to cultivate and encourage student creativity, along with higher-order thinking, in a way that increases not only student performance, but also student self-worth and self-motivation. I am looking forward to an amazing year.
