Welcome to my 6th grade math class for the 2018-19 school year! We have a full year ahead of us with some fun math concepts, which include: integers, rational number conversions and operations, solving equations, multiple representations, proportions, graphing, and geometry! I love mathematics and I love teaching young adults just as much. I cannot wait to watch every single one of my students grow in their math skills this year.
A little bit about myself: This is my second year with Nolan Ryan JH... Go Longhorns! I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Teaching and Learning 4-8th grade math from the College of Education... Go Coogs!!! In my spare time, I love swimming, reading, scrapbooking, and hanging out with my family and pets.
I am also coaching 8th grade volleyball and basketball this year. I have always loved coaching young adults and I am very hopeful for both of the volleyball and basketball seasons this year. "One spirit, one team, one win." Go Lady Longhorns!
Please email me if you have any questions, comments, concerns. This is going to be a great school year! (-:
