    A message from Mrs. Acosta
    (Administrator over Senior Class)
    12.18.20

Dear Senior and Senior Parent or Guardian:

Although graduation is still months away, it is time to start planning now. We begin our preparations for this ceremony with the ordering of the cap, gown, and tassel that will be worn during the commencement exercises on Thursday, May 27th at Freedom Field. On January 8th and 12th, a representative from Herff Jones will be at Shadow Creek High School to measure seniors for their caps and gowns. Ordering will take place during all 4 lunch periods (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) in the front commons area. In addition, our representative will be on campus 8:30am-12pm Saturday, January 9th to take orders. These are the only days that students can order face to face. We ask that you follow proper COVID protocols while on campus. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. Cash or Credit Card will be accepted.

Herff Jones also offers the opportunity to order online because many of you may not be comfortable coming to the school to place an order. You may visit the following link to place your orders. On this site there are some Class of 2021 items, cap/gowns, as well as announcements.

This link is LIVE! So feel free to order as soon as you would like. Deadline to place orders will be Monday, January 25, 2021. As always we will send reminders as well as include this on our Newsletter and the school’s weekly Shark News. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them or get the answer for you.

Please be advised that this letter does not guarantee your participation in the graduation ceremony. Students, please make certain you satisfactorily complete all remaining academic graduation requirements. It would be unfortunate to lose eligibility for graduation during the final months of the year.

Herff Jones has created a promotional video for you to check out. Please click on this
