Online Learning:While we remain off-campus due to COVID-19, I will post weekly assignments on Google Classroom on Sundays.
- My tutorials will be held via Google Hangout on Tuesdays 3-4pm and Fridays from 11-12pm, the link to which I will post on Fridays to Google Classroom.
- There will be 1 weekly assignment and 1 weekly discussion. The discussion is due on Thursdays, and will count as 'attendence'.
- While we are not taking formal grades at this time, we are supposed to monitor progress and provide feedback. Therefore, I will be monitoring online assignment progress through grades via Google Classroom. I will post a completion grade for work completed.
- Students should also continue to read at least 10 minutes per day.

About MeI am so thrilled to be apart of the Shark family at Shadow Creek High School! I am originally from a small town in Connecticut and moved to Texas three years ago. Recently I moved to Pearland and am very excited to be teaching in my community!I have always had a passion for both English and theatre, which only grew while I was an undergrad at the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!). After undergrad, I was fortunate to spend some time in NYC working as a Dramaturg, editing new plays and helping playwrights develop their scripts for production. I then attended Emerson College in Boston, MA, where I developed my passion for teaching. I have been so fortunate to work with students in Hartford, CT, and in HISD, and am now very excited to be bringing my passion to Alvin ISD!
