About Me

I was born and raised in Alvin, TX.  I earned my bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University.  I have two children, Christina and Carson.  They both attend schools in Alvin ISD.

This is a my 8th year teaching.    Prior to Nelson Elementary, I taught 5th grade at Alvin Elementary, and 5th and 6th grade Fundamental Skills at Levi Fry Intermediate in Texas City.  
 

I enjoy learning new things to share with my students.  I earned the National Certificate for STEM Teaching.  I have also participated in the GCR Science Collaborative and the UTMB - Galveston County WeTeach Computer Science Collaborative, earning hundreds of hours of professional development.
