Hello Harby Hawks!  My name is Amber Medina and I will be teaching 6th grade science and co-teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science.  This is my fourth year teaching at Harby and my 14th year teaching. I am so excited to start another year here at Harby!  Here's a little about me. I am a wife and mother of two.  My husband, Luis, runs a photography business.  My son, Zachary, is a musician and a college student.  My daughter, Zoe, who's a 7th grader here at Harby, raises and shows longhorn.  We have a dog named Toby.  We also own 4 Texas Longhorn, 2 steers named Lightening and Thunder, a heifer named Sunshine, and a bull named Jet Stream. Some of my favorite things to do when I'm not attending longhorn shows are reading, baking, and music.  I also love photography, camping, and hiking in the mountains.  I'm so excited to meet all of you and get to know about all your hobbies and how your summers went. Then we'll get into the real fun, SCIENCE! Can't wait to meet all of you!  Have a great year Harby Hawks!
