    About Me
     
    I am extremely excited to get another year underway as a Yellow Jacket at Alvin HS! 
     
    I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. I have a Master of Education in English Second Language from Northcentral University. I am certified as a National Geographic Educator and collaborator. This will be my 10th year teaching, as I taught for 2 years in South Korea and the remaining years in Texas.
     
    Learning is a lifelong passion of mine and is something that I hope to impress upon my students. I do use Google Classroom and all students will spend time this coming year utilizing it and submitting assignments through Google Classroom. Parents are welcome to join, simply email me and I will invite you to join your student's class.
     
    I am married to my best friend, Justin, who is an Engineering Teacher and Men's Soccer Coach at Shadow Creek High School.  I am also the UIL Science Coach for our campus and look forward to a great year of competition. UIL Science will also have a Google Classroom this year with practice problems, content knowledge information, and test dates.
