My name is Perisha Carr and I am your new Fundamental Skills teacher at Wilder Elementary for the 2018-2019 school year. This is my 9th year teaching in Elementary Education. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years, 1st grade for 1 year, and Special Education for 6 years. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. I have lived in Texas for over 10 years! I love Texas and the weather. I have three beautiful children who has been at Wilder for three years. They love it! My children are 10 and 11. My 10 year olds are twins (boy and girl) and my oldest is a boy. As you can see I can be very busy at times! However, I love children. I am so excited to be a Wilder Wolf and plan to have a great year with my parents and students. In my spare time, I enjoy surfing the web, reading, and spending time with my kids. I love to travel and host parties. My favorite color is green and red. I love all types of seafoods, baked foods, and red velvet cake!
Parents please do not hesitate to contact me for any concerns or questions you may have throughout the school year!
My conference hours are 1:45-2:40 pm Monday thru Friday. I am located in room 613.
I have two paraprofessionals: Miranda Selvera and Tracey Navy. They give me support with my students and are AWESOME!
