I was born in our nation's capital and raised in Maryland. This is my 16th year teaching. I started my career in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, teaching middle school French for 2 years. I then moved to the Big Apple where I taught middle school French and English for 6 years. From NYC, I relocated to Austin, Texas where I taught 5th grade ELA/American History for 4 years. Then I relocated to Houston where I taught 5th grade self-contained in an International Baccalaureate school in Houston ISD for 3 years. Then I made the best decision ever to join the Alvin ISD family at E C Mason Elementray teaching 5th grade ELA/American History. And here I am at Pomona Elementary where I will be teaching 5th grade math. It's been quite a journey, and I've enjoyed the experiences. I am so excited to join the Pomona Pirates family and am looking forward to an amazing year. Always feel free to reach out to me with any concerns or questions. Email is my preferred method of contact because I can respond quicker. Wishing you and your family an amazing year!
