    About Me
I am very excited to be starting my 4th year teaching here at Alvin Jr. High. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science degree. I majored in Kinesiology with a minor in Education. After graduating I was a paraprofessional in Spring ISD for two years working with Special Ed and volunteer coaching in the district. The last few years I have been a Store Manager at Fanzz Sports Apparel and I decided it was time to head back into the Teaching profession. I love working with kids and making a difference in their lives!! I have been married to my beautiful wife for 8 years and she also teaches 1st grade at Savannah Lakes Elementary School. We have two amazing daughters one is 4 years old and the other is 2 years old. They both bring so much joy and happiness to our everyday lives!!! I am actually from Connecticut and lived there up until right before I started high school at James E. Taylor in Katy, Texas. Talk about a culture shock for the first few months after I moved! I played baseball throughout high school and for a year at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. I am a huge Yankees and Giants fan so I am sure that my students will give me a hard time about that. I am very excited about getting to know all of my students on a personal level and my main goal is to provide them with all the skills and resources they need to be successful! Thank you and please feel free to email or call with any questions or concerns you may have.
