2019-2020 marks the beginning of my 27th year of teaching.  My experience covers grades 6-12 in English Language Arts/Reading/English, but the last ten years have been spent here at Alvin High School.  I grew up in Buna, Texas, but  I've lived in Alvin for the past 26 years.  My family consists of my husband and three daughters, a granddaughter, three cats, and a dog. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
