About me.
I moved to Texas from New York after earning my bachelors of Science in Art Education from Buffalo State College of New York with a Minor in Art Therapy and a concentration in Ceramics. My teaching career began at Alvin ISD in 1998 at Hood Case Elementary, teaching Art from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I moved to Nolan Ryan Jh to open and build the Visual Art Program next. In 2016 I was given the opportunity to open Shadow Creek and help build the Visual Art program. I thoroughly enjoy my time at Shadow Creek working to build creative minds and advance students' learning and skills. In my own practice of art I work with Fiber Art, Metal Enameling, ceramics, as well as small scale mixed media sculptures.
