Mr. Simpson is in his tenth year here at Alvin High School where he teaches Technical Theatre, Theatre Arts, and Theatre Production. Additionally Mr. Simpson serves as the director for 1 to 2 shows per year and as the Chair of the Fine Arts Department. His prior teaching experience includes positions in both the Deer Park and Houston Independent School Districts. Some directing credits here at Alvin High School include Blood Wedding, Eurydice, Arsenic and Old Lace, Peter and the Starcatcher, Men on Boats, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged, Wondrous Strange, Smokefall, Chamber Music, Hidden In This Picture, Romeo and Juliet, Marie Antoinette, and both of the multi-award winning UIL Productions Recent Tragic Events and Among The Thugs. Mr. Simpson continues to work professionally as an actor and director. He is a proud member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and Actor’s Equity Association. Mr. Simpson is a founding member of Horse Head Theatre for which he has both acted and directed. Some of his favorite acting credits include:
