    Greetings parents/guardians, students, and guests,

    I am elated to have the privilege of educating your precious 8th-grade student(s) this year.  This will be my 16th year teaching English Language Arts and Reading, my 11th year with Alvin ISD, and my 7th year at Manvel Junior High. I have taught 8th grade Reading, English I-IV, Practical Writing, and Creative & Imaginative Writing.  

    I am a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University, where I received both my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (minor in English) and my Master of Education degree.

    I have lived in Houston, TX my entire life. I have two beautiful daughters, Jazmyne and Jacey, who take up all of my extra time, attention, and money.  I love to travel and have been to a lot of interesting places.  

    I look forward to having an amazing school year getting to know your child and preparing them for the next level.
