What is an Action Team for Partnerships?

Fairview Junior High Action Team for Partnerships (ATP) is an organized group made up of parents, teachers, administrators and community members. This team meets monthly to develop a One-Year Action Plan for School & Family Partnerships, ensures the activities in the plan happen, and evaluates the activities that take place. They also help to publicize events that involve families and gather ideas for new activities.

This model for engagement comes from the National Network of Partnership Schools from Johns Hopkins University. For more information please visit their website at www.partnershipschools.org
