I have been teaching French at various levels and various institutions since 1991. During my graduate school years I taught one section of French each semester for many years at Rice University. I have also taught a year and a half at Texas A&M University. However, I must say that I prefer teaching at the high school level because I have the opportunity to see my students each day and I actually like finding something to appreciate about each one of my students throughout the course of the school year. Due to my fluency in French I am currently making preparations to join a mission team/organization that will provide aide to the inhabitants of Haiti. I enjoy reading (mostly history) and gardening.
