Hi, my name is DeeDee Hendrix and I am the nurse for Duke Elementary. I have been a registered nurse since 1987.  I graduated from Alvin Community College. The majority of my career has been in emergency care. I have worked with people of all ages, but my favorite has always been children. I feel very blessed to be a part of Duke Elementary. 

  My goal is to provide the very best care, and to educate our students on current health issues.  As a nurse and a staff member, I welcome your input and questions. As a parent, I promise to take care of your child as I would my own grandchild.
