My name is Mrs. Jennifer Yow (formerly Gilbert). I am super excited and proud to have married my very best friend, Phillip!! This is my 2nd year at AJH, but my 28th year in education.  I have taught general education, special education, Gifted & Talent, and ESL in grades K-5 in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas and I am SUPER excited to be teaching 6th and 7th Reading/Writing co-teach and 7th resource writing this year!!  I graduated from Kansas State University............. GO WILDCATS and I have three children ranging in age from 28 to 12.  I am now a proud grandma to a beautiful and amazing granddaughter named Lettie!

I love to read, go walking, ride my bike, watch sports and hang out with my kids.  My faith is VERY important to me and I love being active in my church, serving in the nursery with the babies, working with missions, and singing on our praise and worship team.............. I LOVE MUSIC............... I believe ALL students can learn.  We, as educators, just have to find that special spark in their lives that makes them shine.  It is in there for EVERYONE! Please know that I WILL do my very best every day to help each and every student to grow mentally, emotionally, and academically and to become productive members of society............... GO MUSTANGS!!!!
