• Welcome to Walt Disney Elementary and our Watch D.O.G.S. program.   This is an exciting and new program on our campus and we know that it will be a great success with your help.

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students)
began in 1998 in a single school in Springdale, Arkansas and has grown into a nationally recognized program more than 2,276 schools in 41 states plus DC. WD has created millions of “in school” volunteer hours and this program continues to have a tremendous positive impact on the educational process.

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into our nation’s classrooms and hallways.
    * "What could I do, I'm just a Dad?"  You're right!  You are a dad, grandfather or uncle... some of our student population does not have the advantage of having these male role models in their lives.
    * "What could I possibly be able to offer a school?"  Can you give a High Five?  Can you listen to a 3rd grader read?  Can you brave a lunch room of 5th graders?  Can you "coach a soccer game at recess?
Greeting students as they arrive at school, helping with morning announcements, patrolling the hallways, helping a child with flash cards... the list is endless of the possibilities of ways you can help on your child's campus.   Your presence on our campus will be the highlight in the day of MANY students that may never get the male interaction that they need!  You will become a "Pied Piper of Disney", so to speak.
Please contact Lisa Belletto at WDE at 281/585-6234 for information about signing up with Watch DOGS or for scheduling a time to volunteer

We are VERY excited about having this program on our campus and we can only make it a success with YOUR help!  So put on your sneakers and T and be a "Hero of the Hallway" in the eyes of a child!
