About Me

I am honored to serve another year as an Assistant Principal at EC Mason Elementary, where students enter to learn and exit to lead. I am looking forward to continuing serving our students, parents, staff, and the Manvel community. I am a proud alumni of Alvin ISD, where I have also worked as a substitute teacher for AISD, paraprofessional at Harby Jr. High, and a dual language teacher one-way at Walt Disney Elementary. In addition, I have a year’s experience as an Assistant Principal for Midland ISD at Jane Long Elementary. I am very excited to be part of the EC Mason Colts and love having the opportunity to guide, empower, and create a learning community for all. I am happily married to a wonderful person and blessed to have a son who is currently attending university, another one who recently started college and a young man attending junior high. I have lived in the Alvin area all my life, and I deeply care that our students receive a quality education. I hope to make this a positive, memorable year for everyone and, as I say, "embrace what life brings and focus on the good things." Go COLTS!

Es un honor servir otro año como subdirectora en EC Mason Elementary, en donde los estudiantes entrar para aprender y salen para liderar. Espero continuar ayudando a todos nuestros estudiantes, padres, personal y la comunidad de Manvel. Soy una exalumna orgullosa de Alvin ISD, donde también he trabajado como sustituta para AISD, maestra auxiliar en Harby Jr. High y profesora de lenguaje dual en Walt Disney Elementary. Además, tengo un año de experiencia como subdirectora de Midland ISD en Jane Long Elementary. Estoy muy emocionada de ser parte de EC Mason Colts y me encanta tener la oportunidad de guiar, empoderar y crear una comunidad de aprendizaje para todos. Estoy felizmente casada con una persona maravillosa y tengo la bendición de tener un hijo que está en la universidad, otro en el colegio y un jovencito en la secundaria. He vivido en el área de Alvin toda mi vida y me importa profundamente que nuestros estudiantes reciban una educación de calidad. Espero hacer de este un año positivo, memorable para todos y como siempre digo, "abraza lo que te trae la vida y enfócate en las cosas buenas."  ¡Vamos Potrillos!
