Hi, I am so glad to be back. I can't wait for this year. I have been teaching for 32 years. The first year was in Hitchcock and the rest have all been here at Stevenson. My first 9 years I taught first grade and the remainder have been in second.
My husband and I just celebrated our 35th anniversary this past July. We have three sons: Dustin, Daniel, and Dominic. Dustin and his wife Sarah have been married for 9 years and live in Dickinson. Daniel and Kara have been married for 4 years. They are both RNs one at Clear Lake Hospital and the other at UTMB in Galveston. They have a daughter Kate who will be 2 in December. Dominic was just married in July to Amanda. He will be the new Curb Side Manager at the Friendswood HEB and Amanda will be doing her student teaching at Hood-Case and graduate from SamHouston in December. My husband Tom has been a systems test engineer at NASA for the the past 35 years. He began work with the shuttle program and is currently working on the International Space Station and future space exploration. We also have 3 labs. Stormie is a 13 year old yellow lab, Rex is a 7 year old black lab, and Copper, our newest addition, is a 4 year old chocolate lab. Copper is being trained to be a reading therapy dog. We love to go to the park and take long walks together.
I am looking forward to this year and can't wait to get to know your child and you. Thanks for giving me the gift of learning with your child.
