    Hi My name is Susan Mathew and I have been teaching for 29 years.  I have been a 5th grade Math teacher at Mary Marek for 17 years.   I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a degree in Elementary Education. I was a teacher for Galena Park ISD for 12 years. 
     
     I have taught special education, 2nd grade Math, 3rd grade Math.    I am married and have 3 wonderful daughters.  My oldest daughter is  PA  at OU medical school.  my second daughter is working as a  BSN Nurse at Methodist Hospital.  My youngest daughter is a Senior  at Texas A & M.  I am excited to be your child's teacher this year.  Look forward to working with you to make a difference in our children's lives.  Look forward to seeing our students face to face. Together with your support, we will safely and cautiously prepare your child to be lifelong learners.
