    About Me
     
               I am a veteran teacher dedicated to the successful achievement of all of my students.  I began my college education right here in Alvin at Alvin Community College, well-known for its exemplary preparation of students for higher-level education.  I earned a B.A. in Literature at the University of Houston-Clear Lake City, minoring in history and graduating with honors.  I also earned Gifted and Talented endorsement through the University of St. Thomas in Houston.  Additionally, I have been instrumental in implementing and growing the AP Capstone Program at two Alvin ISD schools, Manvel High School and Shadow Creek High School.  I am also an AP Seminar Table Leader at the AP Reading.
