• Resources to use in the 2019-2020 school year:
    • Access your grades through Skyward. Click the Skyward button in the top right of the distrct homepage and use the login given to you by the district.
    • Google Classroom - I will use this to facilitate discussion between students and myself about assignments outside of the classroom.
      • For Pre-AP Alg 2 classes
        • Code: fbufn7x
      • For AP Calc classes
        • Code: snoupmu
      • For Pre-AP Computer Science
        • Code: lbw7ijv
    • Students should all subscribe to my Remind101 number. I use this for updates about what is going on in class. Also, if I forget to say something in class (unfortunately happens more frequently than I like) this is a great way for me to get that information to you. Remind also allows for responses now, so this is another way I can be communicated with outside of class.

    • Pre-AP and AP Students and Parents please visit our Advanced Academics webpage to find our PAP/AP contract and other resources dealing with your student's Pre-AP class here at Alvin High School
    • Khan Academy has great structured lessons for both Algebra 2 and Calculus AB. This is a great supplement/review for what we will cover in class. Not to mention a multitude of extra practice problems to study for tests and quizzes.
    • Wolfram Alpha is a great place to check answers to virtually every problem we do in class (both Alg 2 and Calc). It will even show you step by step instructions for a small monthly fee.
    • Desmos is a free graphing tool and you can do most of what the Ti-Nspire calculator will do. Having your own calculator is preferred, but if that is not an option for you this is a very servicable substitute.
    • collegeboard.org for all of your SAT/ACT and AP needs.
    • Calculus - Symbolab: calculus solution solver, uses math type so it's more user friendly than Wolfram Alpha.
    • I post all assignments in separate documents I created on tabs below this one. But if you would like access to the ONLINE TEXTBOOK below you will find a couple of documents explaining the instructions on how to access it on both your computer and using the phone app.
