    About Me
     
    Hi!  I'm so happy to be working at Marek Elementary in our library!  I come to Texas via Wyoming, Colorado and Missouri.  I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Wyoming and my masters in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Colorado  I taught second grade in Wyoming and was a library media specialist in Greeley, Colorado and Columbia, Missouri.  While I was staying home with my children I was an adjunct instructor for the University of Missouri in the college of Educational Technology and continue that today.
     
    I have a wonderful husband, Ron, who works for MD Anderson Cancer Center and two children. Andrew (23) graduated from Texas A&M in Sports Management and Sarah (17) is a senior at Shadow Creek High School and loves everything!   She's my swimmer and water polo player and plans to swim in college next year!
     
    It is a joy to work with the children, teachers and families at Marek and I appreciate the opportunity to serve this community!  Stop in and visit with us!
