• Rules

During the first few days of school, the class will create a social contract.  This contract will be the rules the class will follow.  Every child deserves a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment where he or she feels respected and able to succeed.  In order to have that, we expect all second graders to follow the social contract we will create.
Behavior affects the entire school day.  If behavior is out of control, then it makes learning difficult for everyone.
Please note that for extreme behavior or continuing disruptive behavior, students maybe sent to another classroom or directly to the office.
All students are expected to come to school prepared to learn.  They are expected to bring their homework, agenda, and all supplies needed to be successful during the school day.  Students are expected to participate and always try their best.   I will be here to help support their learning and work with students so that they can reach their potential.
Success in school is more attainable when goals and expectations are reinforced at home, and I strongly rely on that reinforcement. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child and helping me help your child succeed!
