Science homework is a little thing that can make a big difference! With only about 10 questions, this homework should not take an extensive amount of time to complete, but is designed to pose questions in a variety of scientific fields and encourage thinking.
Students are expected to "show their thinking" on all homework and school work. We have gone over these expectations, and practiced, in class. Students are given an opportunity to ask about homework questions they do not understand in class, and before or after school any day. Completed homework may be turned in early, however, late work will have points deducted as per Alvin ISD guidelines. Late work due to an absence will not be penalized.1st Quarter

I have been allowing time in class for students to complete homework. I will continue this practice for now - it eliminates "lost homework."
