    Homework 
    Please know that kindergarten is oral so it is very important to come to school everyday!!!  The following is a list of things to practice:
    • practice reading your literacy library book daily
    • practice writing your first & last name (make sure the first letter is capital)
    • practice ABC's (letters & sounds)
    • practice illustrating stories (make sure illustration has detail & tells the story)
    • practice saying words slowly and writing the sounds you hear
    • practice illustrating stories and writing words to match the story
    • practice counting orally
    • practice counting backwards starting at 20
    • practice writing/identifying/sequencing numbers 1-20
