Ways to Help Your Kindergarten Child at Home:
1-Read to your child and have your child read to you daily!
Practice reading builds fluency and accuracy as well as confidence!
After reading any book have your child tell you all about what they read or heard read to them. This helps build comprehension.
2- Have your child write everyday! Keeping a simple journal by writing and drawing a picture about their day. They can make simple books about things they know alot about.
3- Handwriting Counts! It is important for your kindergarten child to write letters of the alphabet in Correct Formation. All upper and lowercase letters start with the writing strokes beginning at the top and pulling down.
