I'm originally from Washington State and got my degree at University of Idaho in 2008. Taught in my hometown for 5 years, then moved to Texas in 2013 where I taught Art at the same High School for 8 years and then I became a Shark in 2021. I spent time teaching in Togo, Africa and have traveled to other countries while extending the opportunity for students to travel as well. I have two rescue dogs that are treated like my own kids; Raja - a Boxer, Boston Terrier, Collie mix and Mango - a Dachshund, Australian Sheppard, Chihuahua mix. If you enter my classroom, it’s colorful with a tropical vibe, lights, music, palm trees and pineapples because they are a sign of welcome.
