A native of the Chicagoland area, I attended Purdue for my Bachelor's degree, then came to Texas to work on my Master's Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M. After trying to complete a DVM/PhD in Veterinary Toxicology, I decided that my love was teaching and obtained my Science Composite certification. I have now been in education for 23 years: 2 years at Texas A&M (WHOOP!), 13 years as a science teacher and eight years as an administrator. Because of my love for teaching and growing family responsibilities, I decided to come back to the classroom. I love my kids at AHS and I am excited to be working with all of you!
