Hello!  I am Senae Martin, I am the new ASD Teacher and elated to join the Wilder Elementary School team.  I have been a Special Education Teacher for 12 years.  I started my education career journey in Houston ISD at Cullen Middle School.  I was there six years and continued my journey to Bammel Middle School in Spring ISD for two years. A wise person once stated, “Home is where the heart is,” so I returned to Cullen Middle School in 2016 to further my journey in the educational field and serve the students once again Houston ISD. 

I have spent most of my teaching career in middle school and I am excited to work in elementary.  I am a native of Houston and the proud mother of two children, Lekayla (23) and Seth (14).  When I am not enjoying the comforts of the classroom (and my students), I love to travel and spend time with my family.  In addition, going to the beach or places with bodies of water. 

I am looking for to a great new year, new start, new season with the Wilder Elementary Team and working with my students.  Until then, have a great summer and I’ll see you all soon!
