CompTIA's A+ certification requires a candidate to pass two exams, each costing around $240.00 Students are not required to take a certification exam. If a student does choose to attempt the A+ certification, then he or she will have to pay for each exam. CompTIA also has a strict ID policy that can be found
here. Alvin ISD will handle the registration process and provide transportation to and from the certification exam site. The exams will take place during school hours during April and/or May.
