Greetings Jaguar Families!  We hope this message finds each of you healthy and well!  This is a different and disconcerting time for everyone and we are especially concerned for the well being of our students. Please give them a huge hug and let them know that we are CONSTANTLY thinking about them!

On Monday, March 23, classes will resume through distance instruction and virtual learning opportunities.  Our teachers have put in COUNTLESS hours preparing lessons to reach out from their homes to yours! Lessons will be available starting Monday at 9:00 am.  Some teachers will release lessons for the week and some teachers will release daily lessons.  Students may complete lessons at their own pace, but please remember it is easier to keep up than catch up.  In addition to Google Classroom, teachers will be using platforms such as Zoom and Google Meets to interact with students.

We know you have received a number of emails and messages with guidelines and information for virtual learning, and you are probably very nervous about this idea.  Please know that we are as anxious as you are, but we are confident that our students will excel.  As this is a first for us all, our virtual learning lessons plans will evolve and improve as we go.  Some students will find this type of learning easier than others, but it is our hope that everyone will grow.

We also know you all have been overwhelmed and overloaded with information. To make it easier for you, Mrs. Wilds did an amazing job creating a Google Site to house all of our distance learning information. Please visit our site from the webpage to get to everything you need for your child(ren).

Finally, we want you to know that we are all in this together and learning as we go. We wanted to reassure you that what you are doing to support your families during this difficult time is enough! If you find that you would like your students to have more to do than what teachers assigned, please see the "extracurricular" part of our website. Additionally, you can always encourage them to get on any of the Imagine Learning platforms (Imagine Math, Imagine Math Facts, and Imagine Language & Literacy). We are so thankful to have such amazing families supporting our students.
