At Risk

  • At risk students often manifest poor academic and social skills that promote and general disconnect with the school culture.  Due to conditions surrounding thier birth, home enviornments, and/or socio-economic status these students are often at risk of dropping out of school, delinquent behaviors, and future hardships.  At Alvin ISD we strive to create innovative programs such as attendance intervention, communites in schools partnerships, and student engagement initiatives for remediating these factors.  Tremendous educational efforts and funds are allocated to these programs.
