    What is Wilder Lego Robotics?

    Wilder Lego Robotics is a program in partnership with Engineering And Robotics Learned Young (EARLY) where students work in teams of 3-5 students with Lego® Simple and Powered Machine sets to design and create their own robots to compete in an EARLY Robotics challenge.  The EARLY Robotics Tournament is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 29, 2020.

    Who can apply?  (Updated Grade Levels)

    Wilder Lego Robotics is open to all 2nd-5th grade Wilder students.  Click here to complete the application.  The application deadline is October 4, 2019.  If selected, the program fee is $25 which includes access to all materials as well as the tournament entry fees.

    When and where are the practices?

    Practices will be held after school on most Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm to 5pm in Room 708.  Students and parents will be required to attend at least one post-tournament practice session to debrief, disassemble robots, and re-inventory lego sets used during the competition season.
