IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A MAVERICK!

It is with great pride and humility that I write this note. I do not have adequate words to describe my feelings on being newly appointed as your Manvel High School Principal! I am honored to serve this great community of students, parents, and teachers. I am excited to build upon the amazing tradition of excellence that is already established here.

I would like to share a few things about my professional journey with you.

I moved to Alvin in 2008. I served as an Assistant Principal right here at Manvel High School for 4 years. My first building Principalship was at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary. I served the students and staff there for 4 years. Afterwhich, I transitioned to Principal at Rodeo Palms Junior High in 2016 and served that community for the last 3 years. I am extremely proud of the work that we were able to accomplish together while leading both campuses.

I have come full circle in my educational journey and I am ready to serve this MAVERIFIC community yet again. Coming back is surreal. This is home and I am beyond blessed to be able to return.

This next year will be amazing as we continue to provide unique learning opportunities and experiences for our students. I have HIGH EXPECTATIONS for all students. I believe when students are provided engaging, rigorous and meaningful instruction in a well-structured learning environment, they will meet those expectations. It is my responsibility to ensure that this takes place each day at MHS.

It is extremely important to me that all of our stakeholders feel that MHS is a place that brings great excitement and school pride. MAVERICK PRIDE NEVER DIES!

Please feel free to contact me to learn ways to partner with us to ensure the best experience for your child.
