Students can enter the building at 7:15. Announcements will start at 7:35. Classes begin at 7:45.
We begin dismissal at 3:25. Call the office before 2:45 for a change in transportation.

Students will have daily recess every morning, after lunch, and during the afternoon. We have a bag of equipment for students to use during recess. Do NOT bring toys from home as this leads to arguments and accidents. Students will wash hans before and after lunch and recess. Lunch times are:
- Smith / Pallett - 11:45 - 12:15
- Klentzman / Pannell - 12:00 - 12:30
- Lara / Cancinos - 12:05 - 12:35
- Armstrong ' O'Sullivan - 12:15 - 12:45
Your child's future depends on regular attendance and participation in school. Please make sure your child comes to school on time by 8:00 every day and check your child's backpack every afternoon for homework.
Students will have math homework Monday through Thursday to be turned in the following day. Reading homework is handed out on Monday and due on Friday. Science, social studies, and language arts will not have homework unless something is left unfinished in class. Students can use a folder to carry homework.

Daily Grades (65%) - minimum of 8 grades per grading period. This includes class work and home work.
Asessments / Major Grades (35%) - minimum of 3 grades per grading period. This includes tests, projects, and opportunities to retest for mastery.
Rewards & Consequences
When students follow these rules, they can earn the following rewards: social lunch, extra recess, positive note home, or classroom privileges. However, if a student continues to break the rules, after reminders are given, the student may receive a phone call home, time out from an activity, or an office referral.
Cell Phones / Devices
Cell phones /devices will remain on the student's possession UNLESS used in a classroom using technology. Students are responsible for their own device.
Your child’s success this school year is directly related to our communication. Each week we will send home graded papers and notes on Tuesday. Please review these items, make comments if necessary, sign, and return the empty folder to school the next day.
Students will use their agenda to keep up with daily, weekly, and monthly activities and assignments. Teachers will check agendas regularly, but it is best to email or call with any urgent messages.
