• Vomiting

Vomiting is not always indicative of a serious illness.  Vomiting may occur due to a sensitive gag reflex, overheating, or exercising directly after a meal.  Vomiting that is accompanied by other symptoms such as a fever or diarrhea is indicative of an illness.  Children who vomit more than once or who present other symptoms will be sent home.  Students should not be sent back to school until they have gone 24 hours without vomiting.
