    Attendance

Your child's future depends on regular attendance and participation in school. Please make sure your child comes to school on time every day and check your child's backpack every afternoon for homework.

    Homework

Students will have math homework Monday through Thursday to be turned in the following day. Reading homework is handed out on Monday and due on Friday. Science, social studies, and language arts will not have homework unless something is left unfinished in class. Students can use their binder or a folder to carry homework.

    Rules

    1. Be responsible.
    2. Be respectful.
    3. Be safe.

    Rewards & Consequences

When students follow these rules, they can earn the following rewards: social lunch, extra recess, positive note home, or classroom privileges. However, if a student continues to break the rules, after reminders are given, the student may receive a phone call home, time out from an activity, or an office referral.

    Tuesday Folder

Your child’s success this school year is directly related to our communication. Each week we will send home graded papers and notes on Tuesday. Please review these items, make comments or email if necessary, sign, and return the empty folder to school the next day.

    Agenda

Students will use their agenda to keep up with daily, weekly, and monthly activities and assignments. Parents are encoraged to sign the agenda so they are kept up to date on what is happening in 4th Grade.
