Manvel High School Families,
At Manvel High School, we make the commitment to keep parents well informed.
Today, the school fire alarm sounded and students and staff evacuated the building. The fire department was dispatched and it was determined to be a fire in the laundry room. All students are safe and have been relocated to Manvel Jr. High until we get the all clear for students to return to the building. We are asking parents to refrain from picking up your students, as McCoy Road is shut down at this time. We will communicate more information by 1:00 pm.
Rest assured that the safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority, and we will do all that we can to continue to keep our parents and community members well informed of all campus happenings that have a direct impact on our students and staff.
Thank you for your continued support of Manvel High School.
Dr. Aeniqua Flowers
Principal, Manvel High School
